ALBUM REVIEW: IS MEEK MILLS NEW ALBUM A WIN OR A LOSS?
POSTED JULY 24TH, 2017 | BY TIFFANY GARCIA
East Coast rapper Meek Mill recently dropped his new album “Wins & Losses”. After his break up with Nicki Minaj, legal issues and industry beef, 2017 hasn’t been the best for Meek, but this new album definitely sounds like it was therapeutic.
With songs like “Heavy Heart,” “Price,” “We Ball,” and “Open,” Meek speaks from the heart about relationships. He says, “Hate is real. Love is fake,” as well as “Lames left you scared so I had to reinvent you.” Could he be talking about Nicki?
Of course with collaborations with Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross, The Dream, Quavo, Future, Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, there are going to be some bangers. You will definitely be hearing “Whatever You Need,” “Glow Up,” “Ball Player,” and “Connect The Dots” in the club this summer.
Overall, it sounds like Meek is finally getting back to himself, getting over lost love and is all about that paper. This album is definitely a win!
