PRESIDENT TRUMP SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER ENDING HIS POLICY OF FAMILY SEPARATION

JUNE 20TH 2018 | BY Michael J. Payton

On June 20th, after mounting pressure from both Democrats and Republicans, President Donald Trump signs executive order reversing his policy that separates children from their families who are detained at the border.

This stems from the Trump administration's zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal immigration. Under this policy, children are being separated from their families being placed in what the admin calls "tender age" camps.

Under this Executive Order, adults will continue to be prosecuted, but children will no longer be separated from their parents.
